Folk Tales Around the World
The Folk Tales class is a quarter long class that focuses on tales from around the world. Students read, listen to and then write their own folk tales. They also tell a specific folk tale in front of the entire class.
After that students work in groups to dramatize a folk tale, first by turning the tale into a script, then rehearsing it and finally presenting it to the class with costumes, props, etc..
