STUDENT BOOK REVIEWS
Students from my Core classes are encouraged to write short reviews of books that they have really enjoyed. These are books they would like to recommend to others. Here are some reviews from last year's students:
Dark Life
A few days ago I read my new favorite book called Dark Life. It is by Kat Falls. This book is about a boy and a girl foster child, Ty and Gemma. They both live underwater (subsea). Ty lives subsea with his mom, dad, and Zoe, his sister. Gemma also lives with Ty at the moment, but she searches and searches for her brother, Richard. Richard needs to sign a form that will allow Gemma to leave the foster home and live her life the way she wants. I really like the way Kat Falls thinks about writing her books. They always turn out interesting.

The Name of This Book is Secret
The book I read was The Name of This Book is Secret. It is by Pseudonymous Bosch. This book is about Cassandra (Cass) who has to find out why the magician died. She goes on a journey to find herself caught up in trouble. She goes to the Midnight Sun to find all the missing children who had disappeared with a type of disease. I thought this book was really great becasue it was exciting, cool, and a little bit scary. That is why I picked this author to write to for my business letter.
